068: Why Intimacy Needs Passion to Thrive

Nicola Navon

Passion can often feel like a dirty word to people. We have been conditioned to think passion and intimacy are at odds. That you can either have passion or you have intimacy, and that’s it’s difficult to have both. In fact, for deep intimacy to thrive, it needs passion. Passion fuels desire and without desire, the relationship stagnates and becomes monotonous. You become bored, and complacent, you seek thrill elsewhere.

In today’s episode of Divine Union, Nicola dives into these two seemingly opposing forces to bridge together how to let them live in harmony, so you can have a relationship that stands the test of time.
